Dear
{employer},
AvSuper uses external service providers to assist the Trustee with
many Fund functions, such as administration services which include
processing the contributions you send us to your employees’ super
accounts.
Effective from 30 November 2020,
AvSuper will be transitioning to a new administration provider. This
notice is to provide you with important information regarding the
transition, and how it will affect participating employers.
Please read this notice carefully to ensure that you understand how
these changes affect you.
- AvSuper’s mailing
address for contribution returns, forms etc will be changing from 30
November 2020:
AvSuper Admin, PO Box 1140, WOLLONGONG DC, NSW 2500
Our
phone number, 1300 128 751 and email address, avsinfo@avsuper.com.au
will not change. While we will have a redirect mail service in place
for several weeks, please ensure you update your contact
lists for our new mailing address
- Our banking
arrangements are also changing to the following:
Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA)
BSB: 062 000 Account #: 19974688
Account Name: AvSuper Fund
Please ensure you
update your internet banking details for this new bank account and
advise any external parties, such as your super clearing house or
payroll providers.
- We will have new, shorter
employer numbers available after transition. However, your ABN is
the key reference required for SuperStream contributions.
SuperStream Update
While we transition to the new administration arrangements, there
will be a short period where certain transaction requests may
experience short delays. Additionally, for employers submitting their
contributions using SuperStream, processing will
not occur between 5.00pm, 25 November 2020 until 9.00am on 1
December 2020 while the ATO makes the necessary changes to our change
of service provider.
To avoid any delays or concerns, please
provide your contributions before 24 November 2020 if possible. Our
online contributions form will remain operational through the
transition.
As you may already know, legislation
requires employers to submit contribution data in approved
SuperStream formats. To find out more, check out our
factsheet
(attached and online) or visit the
ATO’s website.
Please note that following the administration
transition, we may be required to return your contributions to you
unless they are submitted in an approved SuperStream format. As this
could affect compliance with your Superannuation Guarantee (SG)
obligations, we encourage you to ensure your arrangements are
uptodate with current requirements. We will of course let you know if
your contributions do not meet the SuperStream standard, and work
with you to ensure you can meet the standard.
You will also
find attached an updated copy of our Financial Services Guide (FSG)
for your records.
If you have any questions about AvSuper or
your superannuation obligations, please call or email us.
